Sky FreeWheel 21st September 2008

Sky and Transport for London organised a motor-vehicle-free route right in the heart of London. Starting in St James's Park, the nine mile route took in some of the major sites of London - Westminster, the Tower of London, Tower Bridge - and views along the Embankment. Similar events are held all over the world - attracting 50,000 riders of all ages.

Ealing Cycling Campaign organised a ride from Ealing Town Hall and left with some 160 riders to the nearest hub at Ravenscourt Park. En-route we were joined by Hillingdon and Hounslow groups taking the group to 200 people.
