London Cycle Budget Reappears.

After a vigorous campaign by the London Cycling Campaign, Transport for London has reinstated the £8 million cycling budget which it removed last month. The £8 million, earmarked for 2002-2003, will no longer be set aside solely for the London Cycle network, but will be allocated to cycling measures across London. This is a quick u-turn by TfL, and a major victory for the London Cycling Campaign. We would like to say a big thank-you to everyone who lobbied the Mayor's office to make this happen.
