Tram News - Uxbridge Road to remain a through route for cyclists?

The Uxbridge Road will remain a through route for cyclists. At least that appears to be the case in the latest plans released by Transport for London. The cross-section diagrams, revealed at consultation meetings, show that cyclists will be able to cycle along every section of the Uxbridge Road. It seems likely therefore that the route, part of the London Cycle Network, will remain a through route. We are still waiting for detailed plans which will reveal the exact layout of the road. These are promised for the middle of April.

Bike Shop Closes

Active Bikes appears to have closed after only a few years of trading. The Ealing Broadway shop which specialised in mountain bikes recently held a sale and is now virtually empty. A notice in the Gazette on Friday March 14th announced that a meeting of the creditors of Active Bikes Limited will be held on 21 March.
